I will have to say that this has to be the best little kept secret in Salem! I had no idea all the great things this place has until my best friend started working there! Yesterday I went in to grab a Christmas gift for a party tonight and I ended up getting a great deal of my Christmas shopping done! They have the cutest things! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! The staff at Commonwealth Home Health Care has been sweet and caring since the first day I was setup on my oxygen. Everyone that I have spoken with has been very helpful on the phone and in person. I am visually impaired and Gary Cox came out yesterday evening to set my oxygen up and even though my husband was not there, Gary took his time and was very polite and thorough on everything and making sure that I understood everything about the contract and the equipment itself. I always have a good experience. Today I was having a bad experience at my moms Dr appointment with our portable oxygen tank. The mechanism that controls the oxygen stopped working so I left my mom with her Doctors and went to Commonwealth. Blake met me at the counter. A little over 2 years ago I decided to bring my take my mother out of the nursing home after a failed attempt at physical rehabilitation and bring her back home with me. I was told I needed a hospital bed so I had the orders sent here. Not only was I immediately called about delivery but was asked several questions about what else I would need. They suggested things, such as a bedside toilet and table, that I hadn't even thought of. By the time my mother came home, we had everything we could possibly need to take care of her. Over the years I have called about different things and they have always taken the time to answer my questions and deliver whatever I needed. They made what could have been a very stressful task so easy and effortless on my part. The delivery guys are awesome too. Not only do they deliver at your convenience but they set everything up and show you how to properly use it. I really don't know what I would have done without Commonwealth Home Healthcare. Thank you for enabling me to be able to enjoy my time with my mother instead of having to take care of the many details of her supplies. I have been with multiple companies in the Roanoke Valley over the years for my CPAP supplies and I can tell some horror stories! Even the pulmonologist’s office said “they’re all about the same.
